As many countries in the world, lots of schools in Japan have currently been closed due to the COVID situation. Children need to stay home all day. It brought parents with plenty time with their children, which is very precious but sometimes too much to handle.
Therefore, we, Kodomo Edu, would like to present you online English & Art Class for this time of period! We started our online class on April 6th, 2020, with our current students. It’s 2-3 hours online class, but all children love our class and they really focused for that long time! So, we would like to open our online class available to all children in Japan.

And we start Yoga & Karate Class from May! (Details are below.)

皆様、不安な日々が続きますが無事に過ごされていますでしょうか。東京や大阪など複数の都道府県で緊急事態宣言が発令され、多くの学校が現在休校となっています。

私たちKodomo Edu International Schoolも、子供達の安全と、少しでも早いコロナウィルス感染拡大の収束を願い、5月も教室を使う全てのプログラムをお休みにしていますが、4月6日よりアフタースクールのみオンラインクラスにて実施しています。

私たちにとっても初めての試みで試行錯誤しながら始めましたが、受講生の保護者の皆様からの温かいサポートと、より質の高いオンラインクラスを目指す先生達の日々の改善のおかげで、3時間のクラスも飽きることなく楽しく受講できるクラスを配信しています。
おかげさまで、英字新聞「Japan Times」 (April 26th, 2020)にも掲載されました！
5月からは Yoga & Karate Classが始まります！（詳細は下記）

Our online class has one-hour English class (beginner level) and one-hour Art class. You can choose both or choose only an Art class. The dates, time and price is below,

【クラス内容 / Class Contents】

英語とアートの全2時間プログラム 2 hour program with English & Art
（１）English Class（１Hour）・・・ English lesson of Japanese Eiken level 4-5.
英検5級〜4級レベルの英会話を、ゲームや絵本などを用いて、先生とインテラクティブに行います。（※ 現在アフタースクールで使用しているJprep斉藤塾のテキストは使いません。）
（２）Art Class（１Hour）・・・An professional artist, Dr. Fernando Saiki, will introduce world-famous artists such as Picaso, Van Gogh and so on. He breaks down their technics into the way children can adopt. He also shares many life lessons that we can learn from those artists. Children learn the attitude of the great masters as well as their art technics.
東京藝術大学博士課程取得のプロのアーティストが、子どもに分かりやすいように世界の著名なアーティストの描き方をレクチャーします。描き方だけでなく、アーティストの生い立ちも分かりやすく解説し教養を深めます。

『Class – Vol.9』「 初めての ”陶芸入門” – Our first Pottery 」(※ 粘土のご用意をお願いいたします。Please prepare clay.)
（※ 各回、絵の具や色鉛筆、カラーマーカー、画用紙を、各自ご用意お願いいたします。Please prepare paints, color pencils, color markers and papers.）

（3）(NEW!) Yoga & Karate Class（50 mins）・・・A teacher who is a Kids Yoga trainer and also a Karate master who has Black Belt will teach your children an entry level of each movement. Class contains 25 minutes of Yoga and 25 minutes of Karate. Let’s have children’s energy out!
キッズヨガのトレーナーであり、空手の黒帯をも取得するアメリカ人の先生が、ヨガと空手の基礎をレクチャーするクラス。25分のYogaと25分のKarateを組み合わせたクラス。運動不足のお子様のエネルギーを発散しましょう！
