【新イベントスタート】都立大で気軽に集える「ママラウンジ@Kodomo edu」はじめます🍼/ Gathering for Parents & Babies at Kodomo edu

この春、Kodomo edu都立大・八雲キャンパスでは、0歳からの親子を対象とした「ママラウンジ＠Kodomo edu」をスタートします。
子育てをしていると、
「ちょっと誰かと話したいな」「これってみんなどうしているんだろう？」
そんなふうに感じることはありませんか？
この「ママラウンジ」は、気軽にフラット立ち寄れて、ほっと一息つける場所です。
特別な準備も、しっかり参加する必要もありません。
お子さまと一緒に遊びながら、お茶を飲みながら、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごしていただけます。
当日は、簡単なアート遊びなどもご用意していますが、見ているだけでも大丈夫です。
また、子育てのちょっとした悩みや疑問も、その場にいる保護者同士で気軽に共有したり、Kodomo eduの代表の上田より、子育てや教育に関するヒントをお伝えすることもあります。
この時間は、決まったプログラムに沿って進むのではなく、その日の親子の様子や会話を大切にしながら、ゆるやかにひらかれた場として過ごしていただけたらと思っています。
Kodomo eduならではの、子ども主体の学び（Reggio Emiliaアプローチ）に触れながら、親子で安心して過ごせる空間をぜひ体験してみてください。
インターナショナルスクールと聞くと少しハードルが高く感じるかもしれませんが、このラウンジは、はじめての方でも安心してご参加いただける、地域にひらかれたやさしい場です。

上田 佳美
慶應義塾大学卒業。20代でウォルト・ディズニー・ジャパンに入社。モバイルコンテンツのプロデューサーとして従事し、ディズニーの “最高のモノづくり”、”最高のチームを作る ” 文化に多くを学ぶ。その後映画業界で、世界で認められる日本人のクリエイター達と出会い、日本人の創造性に興味を持つ。2016年レッジョ・エミリアのアプローチと出会い衝撃を受け、サマースクールなどの開催を経て、2019年東京・中目黒に本格的なレッジョ・アプローチを目指すKodomo Edu International Schoolを創設。
This spring, Kodomo edu International School (Toritsudaigaku / Yakumo Campus) is launching a new weekly event, “Mama Lounge @ Kodomo edu,” for parents and children from 0 years old.
When you’re raising a child, have you ever felt: “I just want to talk to someone for bit,” “I wonder how other parents are doing this?”
Mama Lounge is a place where you can simply drop by, relax, and take a little break.
There’s no need to prepare anything, and no pressure to fully participate.
You can spend time at your own pace-playing with your child, enjoying a cut of tea, and connecting with others in a calm and welcoming space.
We will offer simple art activities during the session, but you are always welcome to just observe and relax.
You’ll also have the opportunity to casually share parenting thoughts and questions with other parents. At times, Kodomo edu’s founder, Ueda, may also share gentle insights on parenting and education when helpful.
Rather than following a fixed program, this space is designed to be flexible and responsive-shaped by the children, the parents, and the conversations that naturally unfold.

Yoshimi Ueda
A graduate of Keio University, Yoshimi Ueda began her career in her 20s at The Walt Disney Company (Japan), where she worked as a mobile content producer. During her time there, she was deeply influences by Disney’s culture of “creating the best products” and “building the best teams.”
She later moves into the film industry, where she encountered internationally recognized Japanese creators. Through these experiences, she developed a strong interest in the creativity and expressive potential of Japanese people.
In 2016, she discovered the Reggio Emilia approach, which had a profound impact on her. After organizing summer schools and related programs, she went on to establish Kodomo education International School in Nakameguro, Tokyo in 2019, aiming to create an authentic Reggio Emilia-inspired learning environment.
