Who We Are

Renia Co., Ltd. ("the Company"), operator of Kodomo Edu International School, handles personal information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related guidelines.

What We Collect, and Why

We collect and use personal information for purposes including: verifying your identity and responding to inquiries, applications, and requests (including school tours and trials); billing and providing our services; improving our programs, including analysis of service usage and site traffic (which may include anonymized or statistical data); communicating with you about our programs, events, and campaigns; safety and fraud prevention; and, for job applicants and employees, recruitment, payroll, and HR administration.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties except: with your consent; as required by law; to protect life, safety, or property when obtaining consent is difficult; for public-health or child-welfare reasons; when legally required to cooperate with a government authority; when outsourcing data handling within the scope of the purposes above; in connection with a business transfer such as a merger; or for data jointly used under conditions we disclose in advance.

Keeping Data Safe

We maintain organizational, personnel, physical, and technical safeguards for personal data, and we appropriately supervise any outsourced data handling.

Your Rights

You may request notice of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of your data, or disclosure of third-party-provision records, by emailing school@kodomo-edu.com. We will verify your identity before responding. A handling fee of ¥1,100 (tax included) plus postage may apply to certain requests.
